When the factory pumps can no longer maintain the required pressure and volume, simply adding larger injectors will not solve the supply-side limitation.

The FuelMAX V2 addresses this by increasing voltage to the electric fuel pumps when additional output is needed. JMS states that the system can increase electric fuel pump output by up to 85 percent, helping owners extract additional capacity from existing pumps before moving to a completely different fuel system. This makes it particularly useful as a supporting modification on TRX performance packages where additional fueling is required.

Unlike a basic voltage booster, FuelMAX provides user-adjustable voltage rates and regulated output. The unit can increase fuel pump voltage from the vehicle’s normal charging voltage up to 22 volts. JMS also incorporates adjustable voltage ramp-in and ramp-out functionality, helping smooth the transition into and out of increased pump output instead of creating abrupt changes that may contribute to fuel-pressure spikes.

Activation is handled through the supplied pressure switch arrangement. The included Hobbs switch is preset to 5 psi and can be adjusted between approximately 3 and 7 psi, allowing increased pump voltage to be triggered as the engine enters boost. A green status LED provides a quick visual indication of system operation, with the LED blinking while voltage is being boosted.

JMS supplies the FuelMAX V2 with the wiring and installation hardware needed to integrate the system into the fuel pump power circuit. The system is compatible with 12-volt and 16-volt battery systems and is designed and assembled in the USA.
