We offer five different Scat Pack performance packages to meet a variety of needs. Here’s an overview to help you choose the right one for your build:
DT515 Package (Base Pump Gas Package)
The DT515 is our most affordable option you can run without upgrading injectors, which helps keep costs down. This package is simple to install, and many customers complete it themselves. Running on 91/93-octane fuel, it provides about 30 wheel horsepower over stock. If you’re starting on a budget, this is a great entry point for your build.
DT 525 Package (Performance Pump Gas Package)
The DT525 takes performance up a notch, adding 40 wheel horsepower over stock while still running on 91/93-octane fuel. This package includes longtube headers for better exhaust flow, a cold air intake, and custom engine and transmission tuning for sharper response. It’s the perfect next step for Scat Pack owners looking for more power and a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note. DT605 Package (Advanced Power Package)
For those chasing serious horsepower, the DT605 delivers 80-90 WHP gains with a combination of bolt-ons and custom tuning. This package includes a Blueprint intake manifold, BBK throttle body, JLT cold air intake, and a custom grind cam kit, all working together for maximum airflow and power. DT525E Package (E85 Flex Fuel Power Package)

Common E85 Package Questions
Can I run a mix of Pump Gas and E85, or do I need to choose one when filling up?
Unlike our Flex-Fuel packages where you can a mix of pump gas and E85, the Scat Pack packages do not have this ability. You can use either pump gas (91 or 93) or E85, but not both at the same time. Both the DT525E and DT535E come with two tune files, one for E85 and one for pump gas. So you would just need to make sure the vehicle has the appropriate tune file in it depending on the fuel you are using. The files are incredibly quick and easy to swap out though, thanks to the RTD device that is included in every Dusterhoff Racing Power Package.
Frequently Asked Questions
How difficult is the installation?
We would consider the installation to be an intermediate-level job. If you have some mechanical aptitude and experience, the installation should be manageable. The main hurdle will be the Camshaft installation and headers that are included in some of our packages.
Installing the injectors is relatively straightforward—it requires removing four bolts on each side of the engine to take off the fuel rails, then simply popping in the new injectors and bolting everything back together.
We’ll be releasing installation walkthrough videos in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for those!
How do I get my PCM unlocked and how long does it take?
Every Dusterhoff Racing Power Package includes PCM unlocking through HPTuners. Once you receive your RTD (Remote Tuning Device), simply plug it into the OBD port to read your truck’s stock file. After that, you’ll need to remove the PCM and send it to HPTuners for unlocking. The entire process takes about a week, including shipping, so be sure to plan ahead.
How is the reliability and drivability?
We are yet to see any failures on a Scat Pack with just our package installed, outside of any manufacturer defects such as the lifters, a common issue in the 392 engine, which is why we recommend swapping to our OEM Hellcat Lifters. When adding new parts or modifying the vehicle any further make sure to reach out to see if you will need a tuning revision.
As far as drivability, around town the car will drive the exact same as stock. When you get into the gas, that’s when you will notice the massive differences in performance.
What other mods would you recommend for my Scat?
You don’t need anything else with the package, as it comes with everything you need. That said, there are a few other mods that will help increase performance and help the longevity of your motor.
For our more aggressive camshafts included in select Scat Pack Power Packages, we highly recommend upgrading to a 3600 Stall Speed Converter by Sipple Speed. This swap isn’t just about performance—it’s about improving drivability, making your build smoother and more responsive while cruising around town. A higher stall converter helps your HEMI get into its powerband faster, reducing low-RPM sluggishness and making stop-and-go driving much more enjoyable. If you want to get the most out of your setup without sacrificing everyday drivability, this upgrade is a game-changer! 🔥
If you’re looking for a quick and effective upgrade for your 392, the Brisk ER12S Silver Racing Spark Plugs are a solid choice. Designed for high-performance applications, these plugs deliver a stronger, more consistent spark, improving throttle response and high-RPM performance.
