SDG designed the Hellephant Killer Snout as a clean-sheet replacement rather than simply enlarging a factory casting, allowing the inlet path to be optimized specifically for increased airflow.

At the center of the design is a true 108mm inlet path, with the snout machined to 109mm for casting tolerance. Unlike a ported factory snout that may open up at the throttle body before tapering internally, SDG designed the Hellephant Killer to maintain the larger airflow path through the snout. This allows it to pair naturally with a Nick Williams 108mm throttle body and makes the combination particularly valuable for higher-output builds demanding significantly more airflow from the supercharger.

The package goes beyond the inlet snout by incorporating SDG’s Street or X-Treme Billet Bearing Plate. Manufactured using CAD design and CNC machining, the high-flow plate is constructed from 6061 billet aluminum. SDG designed the component with reduced mass, increased strength, improved airflow, and a gasket-free design.

Platform versatility is another advantage.
