If left unchecked, this oil can gunk up your intake tube, mess with your manifold runners, and even water down your gas. Not exactly the stuff you want floating around your engine, right?
That’s where the J&L 3.0L Oil Separator comes in. We took solid billet aluminum and turned it into a tool that’s as tough as your favorite pair of work boots. This little guy works by capturing and trapping those pesky oil vapors. How? Well, it uses a fine mesh stainless steel filter to grab the oils before they make their way into your intake. By the time the oil gets through, it’s heavy enough to drop into the 3oz tank, where it sits until you’re ready to drain it. And don’t worry about leaks—we’ve got it sealed up tight with an O-ring. Easy to drain, easy to install, and heck, even easier to service.
You won’t need to check it every day, but after about 1,000 miles, take a peek. Most vehicles can go 2,500-3,500 miles before needing to drain, but every ride is a little different.
