Boost season is officially here! And while everyone’s focused on bigger blowers, intakes, and fuel systems, it’s easy to forget one key piece of the puzzle: exhaust flow.
If your car can breathe in more air but can’t exhale freely, you’re leaving serious horsepower on the table. A restricted exhaust system creates backpressure that chokes performance, muffles sound, and slows airflow.
That’s exactly what brought Issac’s Hellcat into our shop. His goal? More volume, more aggression, and more power.
We equipped his setup with a set of Kooks 1 7/8” Longtube Headers paired with Green Cats, and finished it off with a Corsa Xtreme Cat-Back Exhaust System. The result? A symphony of supercharged fury that sounds as mean as it feels.
Of course, we didn’t stop there — once the hardware was in, our team performed a full Dusterhoff Racing Dyno Tune to make sure the new exhaust setup was perfectly optimized.
Before: 862 RWHP on E85
After: 918 RWHP on E85
That’s a solid +56 RWHP gain, all while improving throttle response, boost efficiency, and sound quality. The car breathes easier, pulls harder, and sounds downright sinister.
