6.2L Hellcat Camshafts

If you are looking at making your Hellcat, Trackhawk, TRX or any 6.2L Hemi Powered Vehicle sound amazing with an aggressive chop, you are looking in the right place. We offer Stage 1, 2 and 3 Cam Profiles that ramp up in aggressiveness to match just what you are looking for.
Take a Listen at Idle:
Hear from John, owner of the car above:

“The DT Racing cams play a huge role in the horsepower numbers and ETs of my Hellcat Challenger, nicknamed the Jailcat. The kit includes everything needed for installation, and the tuning from Dusterhoff not only turns the Jailcat into a beast at the track but also gives it great street manners with a wicked chop.
The DT NSR cam in my daughter’s Scat Pack Charger, Rosity, was even easier to install—and the results are just as wicked!”

GOT QUESTIONS?
Do I need a tune to run these Camshafts?
Yes, all of our Camshaft Kits will require a tune to run properly. To get started on this, please fill out one of our Pre-Tuning Forms with all of the mods and what Camshaft you plan on running.
What other parts would I need to install one of the Cams myself?
To start out you would need a new MOPAR Gasket Kit for your specific engine, as well oil and an oil filter for a full oil change. For 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi’s we do highly recommend upgrading to the Hellcat Lifters, as the stock lifters in the 5.7L and 6.4L engines are prone to failure, and this would be the perfect time to make this upgrade while you are already working on the engine. You will need a tune as well with any upgraded camshaft, to get started with the tune you will need to fill out a Pre-Tuning Form. For any of our Stage 2 or Stage 3 Cams we do highly recommend an upgraded Converter from Sipple with a 3200-3600 Stall Speed.
What other mods do you recommend to go along with one of the Cam Kits?
To really take your build to the next level, here are a few extra mods that we recommend to go along with your new camshaft:
– Sipple 3200 Stall Speed Converter
– Longtube Headers
– Cold Air Intake System
– Intake Manifold for 6.4L Hemi’s
– Hellcat Lifters for 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi’s
– Billet MDS Plugs By Stanke
How hard is it install a Camshaft myself?
The Stage 1 NSR Cam is a much easier installation, as it does not requiring changing the Valve Springs or Pushrods, so the only thing you would be swapping is the Camshaft itself.
When getting into the Stage 2 or Stage 3 Cam Kits, some experience with building or working on engines would be highly recommended. It requires you to swap Valve Spring and Pushrods, which can be quite the task is you are unexperienced. Swapping the stock lifters to the suggested Hellcat Lifters in the 6.4L Hemi’s can also be a difficult process if you have never done something like it before.
If you are unsure about your ability to complete the installation, we recommend coming to us for the install or going to a reputable performance shop in your local area. We do have connections with several trusted shops throughout the country, so feel free to ask us if there is one near you.
What is the pricing for Dusterhoff Racing to install a new Camshaft in my Hellcat-Powered Vehicle?
Pricing varies widely depending on your build and the camshaft you choose. If you’re running one of our Stage 1 NSR Cams, installation will be much less expensive than a full Stage 2 or Stage 3 Cam Kit. Additional required parts, such as a new gasket kit, tuning, and an oil change, are also factored
into the cost.
For the installation and tuning of a Hellcat Stage 2 or Stage 3 Cam Kit, pricing starts at around $7,000. This all-inclusive price means you can pick up your Hellcat-powered vehicle and drive it home with that killer chop. The package includes the cam kit, gasket kits, engine tuning, transmission tuning, optional E85 tuning, oil filter and oil change, labor, coolant, supplies, and fuel for tuning and testing.
Pricing for installation of a Stage 1 NSR Camshaft starts at around $5000. This does include everything you need, including the Camshaft, gasket kits, engine tuning, transmission tuning, oil filter and oil change, labor, coolant, supplies, and fuel for tuning and testing.

Choose your Profile and give your Hellcat some Chop!
What are the differences between the 3 available Camshaft Profiles?
Our Stage 1 NSR (No Springs Required) is our most “tame” option that we offer. They are stock converter friendly, and are a great upgrade to make your Hemi more aggressive, and give it some chop without having to break the bank on upgrading other parts.
Our Stage 2 Cam Kit is a significantly more aggressive profile, while maintaining excellent road manners and drivability. The kit includes the Camshaft, Pushrods, Valve Springs and a Phaser Lock Kit. This profile is best suited to an upgraded converter with a 3200-3600 stall speed. If your car is more of a weekend warrior than a dedicated track car, this is the kit for you.
Our Stage 3 Cam Kit is by far our most aggressive offering. For many, many years it was the most aggressive Hemi Camshaft on the market! It makes killer chop and sounds incredible both at idle and at wide open throttle. The kit comes with everything that the Stage 2 Kit includes: Camshaft, Pushrods, Valve Springs, and Phaser Lock Out Kit. This cam is also best suited to a converter at 3200-3600 stall speed. If you are building a car to drive to the track, race it, then drive home or just a dedicated race car, this is the cam you are looking for.

6.4L Hemi Camshafts

The 6.4L Platform is probably the most receptive Hemi to an upgraded Camshaft. With both an upgraded intake manifold and one of our Custom Camshafts, the engine really wakes up and is on a whole new level. Check out our DT605 Scat Package to get everything at once!

Hear from Albert, Owner of the Scat Pack Above:

“I installed my Dusterhoff Racing Stage 3 Cam back in 2022 and have driven over 30,000 miles with it. I’m absolutely thrilled with the performance—it sounds amazing! I get compliments everywhere I go, and it performs just as well on the track. With the cam, long-tube headers, and a 17” radial, I was able to drop 0.6 seconds in the quarter-mile at full weight. The tuning by Dusterhoff also makes my car incredibly smooth for normal driving. I’m very pleased I made the decision to go with Dusterhoff Racing!”
